I am passing along all your concerns -- multiple keys to one person, broken links, failing download (I am also having this experience), and more -- to the the people involved with this promotion on many levels. We always strive to improve the process and this is the first on-line distribution, so there is definitely room for improvement.

Yep I not sure what other people think, but this promotion was a epic failure! The poor gaming site was overloaded in a matter of minutes, mainly because I'm sure people were using multiple browser windows in the hope of getting the mag.
Take that into the account that people abused the promotion and got the code multiple times is ridiculous!
Next time you run a promotion like this, consider better planning and remember that people will do anything to get their hands on the next 100K + xx ectos pet.

Sorry but how did you figure that would be the case?
The promotion went up around 2PM GMT when plenty of people (Euro) players are still at work / school / etc...
Finally I took a quick look in the Major towns in the Euro server this morning and found no one to be selling them... quick trip to the American servers showed a completely different story.
Again this promotion was a good idea, but poorly planned and epic fail.

Well of course I was only joking The pet price itself can range from 10-50K depending on the seller.
On a interesting note, I myself did get a code, randomally it came today in my mail box.
The site may still be offering them but it all depends if people are going to try and abuse the site's bandwidth.
Oh and READ THE MAG! It very good, and for free its easily worth reading.

I really need money, and i do anything legal for it!
Well the one thing i dont like is, i got 50 emails with the same serial ... And i entered my email once! So i think something is wrong with my mail server -_-

Finally managed to get a code after trying for a few hours after getting word about it. Amazed I got a code, I'd think everyone would've taken them by now especially hearing that people were getting multiple codes.

Got a working code about half an hour ago, so there's prolly still more left.
Now it's just sitting in my storage with all the other mini's I've stuck in the HoM. Still like the Moa the most.

Just got mine, rawr looks really nice
In my opinion brilliant idea to promote like this, site got nuked though so they could have arranged some backup capacity there.
And for the griefing/epic fail posts, not everyone can be online/awake/at their computer when something like this happens and it seems there's still lots of keys left so what's the problem. It was announced in European guildwars.com wasn't it and the magazine wanted that Euro players would be the majority getting these keys.
Bit over-aggroing saying execution was an epic fail?

The site was overwhelmed, used codes were given, no response was received in regards to used codes, people reporting multiple unique codes given to the same people, so, yeah, I consider that a failure.

I said it was epic fail because it is an epic failure ¬_¬
To be honest they mag site should have considered the insane surge of people trying to download the mag... well more people trying to get the mag in order to get the pet.
But I guess they simply vastly underestimated the Zerg of Guild Wars players wanting to get the pet.
I see it ingame, and its nice looking. Not a massive won factor, but I'm sure a lot of people would love to have it.
The biggest fail is on the part of the mag owners by allowing people to click the "Get a code" box over and over and over again till it worked, only further putting pressure on the site.
From a technical point-of-view its a epic fail, the promotion idea as a whole is ok.
